Supporting Shropshire residents during emergencies

Emergencies can happen at any time, often with little or no warning. When they do, emergency services, Shropshire Council, and other agencies work together to save lives and protect communities. The Outreach Team specifically supports Shropshire Council in responding to emergencies, with a particular focus on flood situations.

We achieve this by meeting welfare needs, supporting and attending rest centres and shelters, and delivering information to the public.
