Course schedule

This course is for Shropshire Council staff working in Adult Social Care Teams only.  Staff are required to attend CPI Safety Intervention Foundation™ training on an annual basis to refresh their knowledge and skills.  Please apply for this course if your current CPI Safety Intervention Foundation™ certificate is approaching expiry. 

A three day interactive workshop. Learn how to apply a structured approach to understanding problematic thoughts, beliefs and paranoia and use strategies for helping people manage their experience.

Leadership and management training to explore effective delegation skills for managers and seniors

Training to provide knowledge on the essential principles of supervision and how they link with performance management

Training to introduce and increase understanding of safeguarding and protecting children.

This course is recommended for staff working in Shropshire Council maintained schools, who need to prevent and/or intervene in crisis situations and whose Training Needs Analysis has established that they require disengagement and holding skills.

This course is recommended for staff working in Shropshire Council maintained schools, who who have attended CPI Safety Intervention Foundation Training for Children & Young People™ previously. The training should be attended on an annual basis. Please apply for this Refresher course when your current certificate is approaching expiry.

Identify feelings, thoughts around bereavement, how to have conversations and offer support and signposting
