Below are resources that managers and practitioners can access to support the training and delivery of the NHS Health Check Programme.

Training
- All staff delivering NHS Health Checks are required to have completed the relevant e-learning modules, POCT device training and 1-1 Face to Face sessions. An overview of the modules and competency framework can be found on the health check webpages
- All staff should undertake the online NHS Health Check (HCV) training at E-learning for Health. On the site – Please search for ‘NHS Health Check (HCV)’ - Then ‘Sign in’ (register for an account if needed) and complete the 12 video modules to obtain a certificate of completion.
- All staff should be certified by Alere (Abbott) to use the Point of Care Afinion AS100 device. The training is completed online and can be accessed via the training request form
- A localised checklist has been produced to assist with working through the competency framework
Once completed, further in person 1-1 training can be arranged.
