Operating days / times and fares
Since Saturday 28 June 2025, Shrewsbury park and ride buses have been running up to every 12 minutes at peak times, making it even easier and more convenient to travel into the town centre.
This increased frequency is funded from Shropshire Council’s allocation of UK government bus improvement funding for 2025/26. This money will also be spent on improvements to the three park and ride sites, plus improvements to other bus services and infrastructure across the county.

Fares
- Standard (return fare) - £2 per person
- Concessionary pass holder (return fare) - £1 per person (after 9:30am)
- Accompanied children under 16 years – FREE (children under the age of 16 aren't allowed to travel unaccompanied on any of the park and ride services)
- Walkers (single fare)* - £2 per person, each way
- Lost ticket fee - £2 per person
- Four-week saver** - £32 per person (entitles the passenger to unlimited journeys on any of the Shrewsbury park and ride services within a consecutive 28-day period)

* Please note that the park and ride service is designed for customers who park their car and then travel into the town centre.
For customers who walk to the site or board a Park and Ride bus without parking at one of the three official Park and Ride sites, please be aware that a 'walkers fare' will be charged to avoid competition with local bus services.
**Please note that all four-week saver passes are only valid when parking a vehicle at the designated park and ride sites.
