Training will help you to assess and understand the risk to victims of domestic abuse and in getting support in place.

Gain awareness of the current prevalence of self harm, the contributing factors and how we may work towards supporting someone who self harms.

This one-day training course is designed to equip health and social care staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality and person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

This course is recommended for staff who work in environments that require safe responses to escalating behaviours, but not restrictive or physical intervention techniques. Participants will learn how to respond to crisis situations with a focus on prevention, using verbal de-escalation skills and strategies where restraint is inappropriate.

Training to introduce the concept of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards DOLS.

This course is recommended for staff working in health and social care who need to prevent and/or intervene in crisis situations and whose Training Needs Analysis has established that they require disengagement skills only (no holding).

Training to provide an awareness of the Mental Capacity Act MCA and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards in relation to young people.

Mental Health First Aid Refresher for anyone who has the role of MHFAider® who wishes to update MHFA skills.
